JJ & The Mood is the pseudonym of Cincinnati-based disco-pop vocalist and songwriter Jack Sjogren.
Drawing from musical influences spanning Talking Heads, ESG, and Earth, Wind & Fire, JJ’s palette features varying shades of soul, disco, pop, and gospel - cohesively held together by Sjogren’s playful vocal energy and warm spirited from producer Joey Joesph. Performing his debut show at Los Angeles’ legendary Lodge Room, JJ has been featured in global and national ad campaigns with Apple, Uber, and Saks OFF 5TH, official playlists including Spotify Fresh Finds, Apple Music Midnight City, and garnered support from Under The Radar, Celebmix, METAL, V13, KCRW, and more.
