NYIKO (“nee-koh”) is a Los Angeles–based singer, songwriter, producer, and visual artist whose music blends synth-pop, indie pop, new wave, and post-punk into emotionally charged songs that feel both immediate and cinematic. Drawing from a lifelong musical background that spans hip hop, piano-driven songwriting, emo and hardcore bands, and electronic production, his work balances sharp pop instincts with emotional complexity, vulnerability, and atmosphere.

Raised in small-town New Hampshire, NYIKO began writing and recording music as a child before developing a sound rooted in shimmering synths, driving rhythms, introspective lyricism, and an unmistakable melodic sensibility. His music explores themes like desire, identity, mental health, self-worth, and modern relationships — pairing infectious hooks with darker emotional undercurrents and a distinctly human perspective.

Named a 2025 Artist To Watch by Galore and Sweety High, NYIKO has earned praise for his ability to merge emotional depth with polished, genre-blurring pop.
